Artist's Description
Harper's Weekly newspaper featured a two page drawing of the newly opened Hotel Del and the beach. I aquired this vintage image in two pieces, merged and cleaned up in PhotoShop.
The hotel opened in January 1888 and this drawing was done by Charles S. Reinhart in 1890.
