Surf 3 Off The Lip.
New Art Creations By Glenn McNary using the latest's technology on my Note 3 cell phone tablet. Most of my past work was created using Polaroid film and a metal stylus to move the emulsion inside the film envelope to create a painted effect. The Note 3 is equipped with a pressure sensitive surface, 13 mega pixel camera and a custom stylus. The Note 3 surface is about the same size as the Polaroid film and seemed the perfect new medium to use with the stylus. Using a PhotoShop app, I am able to blend the pixels with the stylus by hand to recreate the effect I have been using for the past 15 years. The painted look is totally created by hand using my stylus, I spend hours on each piece, touching, blending and working on every area of the photo. I do not use preloaded filters (watercolor, color pencil) that are easy to press a button and create the painted look. I do use contrast, brightness, saturation, layers and my skills to add to my handmade painted effect.
