Boat House 1887 On The Bay was captured on a early spring morning as the sun had just peaked over the horizon. The Boat House is a restaurant located across from the Hotel Del Coronado. This restaurant has changed hands a few times and has gone by the name of "The Chart House" and the "Boat House"
New Art Creations By Glenn McNary using the latest's technology on my Note 3 cell phone tablet. Most of my past work was created using Polaroid film and a metal stylus to move the emulsion inside the film envelope to create a painted effect. The Note 3 is equipped with a pressure sensitive surface, 13 mega pixel camera and a custom stylus. The Note 3 surface is about the same size as the Polaroid film and seemed the perfect new medium to use with the stylus. Using a PhotoShop app, I am able to blend the pixels with the stylus by hand to recreate the effect I have been using for the past 15 years.
